On June 18, the traffic police officer, police captain, traffic police propaganda inspector of the Russian Interior Ministry Department for the Rossoshansky District Belogortsev V.A. visited the school camp "Solnyshko". These meetings have already become traditional during the camp shift. "Road accidents are the main cause of injuries among children. Not everyone realizes the importance of this problem, but it can affect any of us. All of us, in one role or another, are participants in traffic: someone is a pedestrian or a passenger in a car, and someone is already a driver himself" - with these words, the traffic police inspector Belogortsev V.A. addressed the children at the beginning of the meeting. He informed the students about the accident rate in our city and gave examples of violations that resulted from accidents. The security service officer paid special attention to the behavior of children on the road. Vyacheslav Anatolyevich said that failure to comply with basic rules can cause irreparable harm to the health of road users. For half an hour, the children present discussed problematic issues related to traffic rules. All the children agreed that the event was not only interesting but also useful for them. And communication with the traffic police officer allowed them to understand the need for strict compliance with traffic safety rules. At the end of the meeting, the inspector wished all the children a safe summer. Undoubtedly, such meetings with traffic police officers teach children how to act correctly in difficult situations that arise on the road, and also help reduce the number of traffic accidents involving them.
